#3 CELEBRATE SPRING WITH MIXED MEDIA


Hello friends,
It’s time to say good bye to winters and welcome spring.

So here is the new challenge for this month
CHALLENGE #3   CELEBRATE SPRING WITH MIXED MEDIA
( spring has always made me sing with the birds chirping around in the garden ... )
make sure the layout is 8*10 or bigger.. no cards or altered items .. only LAYOUTS using mixed media technique..

Here is my  Mixed Media Layout
Keeping in mind with the theme I have given bright colors, flowers and butterflies,
birds, bright sun, and music notes etc..
here I have used lots of different types of Blooms
Crochet flowers
Quilled flowers
Paper swirled Roses (on which I have stamped musical notes and then made them into blooms)

This is a picture heavy post ...with lots of details ... The picture is much brighter in real

 I have used gesso on the base textured into wavy design and used blue orange and green colors ...
A bright Sun stenciled with MEMENTO DANDELION and CIRCLES- mix ability

crochet flowers and quilled flowers and leaves 

musical notes stamped with MEMENTO LADYBUG with KAISERCRAFT SHEET MUSIC clear stamp. Then swirled into roses with Distressed and edged with  COLOR BOX AMBER

bird cage stamped and colored 

musical sheet can be replaced with a photograph 








stenciled with  CIRCLES- mix ability in various colored Roundlets with a distressed doily beneath

Distress Ink Festive berries ( egded musical tag and roundlets)

Pattern Paper ANNA MARIE 6*6 ( little flags beneath swirl roses)
Charms ( Key and star)
