Kraftzone Challenge# 3- Celebrate Spring with Mixed Media Layout

Hello all Crafty people!!!

You all know that we Kraftzone team create a crafty challenge every month and this month our challenge theme is ' A Mixed Media LO with all Spring season colors.' ( Only Layout is allowed..)

My fellow DT Nikkita and Meeta already posted their inspirational posts about this challenge. Please visit the blog.

So now....Its my turn to show my project on this theme as an inspiration. I made a LO with Mixed Media technique and all the Spring season colors like red, orange, blue, yellow, pink, green,....and Blooms- flowers..flowers...flowers... :-)

Here is the pic....

This LO have all the bright Spring colors. I used Gesso for giving a texture to the canvas and layered with some patterned papers and some threads then colored with acrylic colors ( lemon yellow, orange, ultramarine blue, light green, magenta, pink, crimson, deep rose and white). Before coloring added some small stones, shells, beads, an old chain. (All from my stash)

Made some flowers in different sizes with pollen and some stamped, embossed n distressed flowers too. I used toothpicks for giving a frame look and colored with 'Meadow green' pearl acrylic color. Brick wall-( above right n below left) made with the help of stencil and white colorbox ink.

Arranged all the embellishments on canvas n those tiny cute badminton charms too. They are my favourite in this canvas... ;-) Spritz some.. 'Smooch Spritz- Salazar Tea Party' on the canvas too.

Here are some closer look of my canvas...

You can see the layers of PP, stones, smooch spritz and embossed flower

Stamped this flower and done with Varsamark watermark ink, colorbox pigment ink-Harbor and clear embossing powder. then distressed.

And lastly I gave a touch of gold acrylic powder all over the canvas. :-)

Supplies from Kraftzone store:
I hope you will like my Mixed media LO. So create your own and participate in the challenge.
Thanks and happy crafting!! :-)
