DIY-MANTLE DISPLAY

Hello friends,

Today I would like to share a very quick and easy way to create a beautiful and yet simple mantle piece.I had a lot of fun in putting the small elements together for my miniature side table which is the center piece for my project.

First I applied white acrylic paint to the miniature .Then a coat of brown acrylic paint .The distress look that you see in the given below picture was achieved through the use of sandpaper and distress ink -walnut stain.

To go with my cute mini table ,I created a small vase using a bottle cap ( I think it was a glue stick cap).I tightly wrapped jute twine around it and decorated it with rose buds and leaves .To accessorize the table you can use charms and embellishments. You can go crazy as we at Kraftzone have loads of options to choose from .The link is given at the end.

Now Finally , when I've put together everything it looks something like this .A small size glass bowl filled with white marble stones (if you don't have those you can use thermocol balls). Covered the rim with laces and topped it up with a nice pink satin bow .

Miniatures are great way to accessorize your shadow boxes etc.

Hope you like it ! :)
Try it today . Super easy and cute .
